Our Purpose

The Langdon Foundation is a private foundation
classified as a charity under I.R.C. Sec. 501(c)(3).  
Our objective is to provide financial and support
services to charities that fulfill the philanthropic goals
of our family. In particular, we support:

  • Colleges & Universities,
  • Libraries,
  • Religious organizations,
  • Organizations dedicated to historical and
    environmental preservation, and
  • Organizations dedicated to the prevention of  
    cruelty to animals.

We may also support other charities and charitable
causes upon recommendation of family members.
Overview of this Site

The purpose of this site is to provide information
about our activities and charitable interests.  In
the future, we anticipate posting information that
may be of use to charities in furtherance of their
own fundraising campaigns.
